The body of junction boxes is made of 3mm thick galvanized steel and is covered by polymeric paint. It has double protection against corrosion because of galvanic treating and polymeric cover. Elements of connections and fittings also have galvanic anti-corrosion cover. Density of contact between the cap and the body is implemented via a silicon pad.
There are ceramic terminal blocks inside the body, which provide a tap screw connection and a grounding grip. The cap of the box is connected with “RE” grip via grounding wire inside the body.
There are special metal glands installed in side walls for cable with 6-12 mm outer diameter. Cable glands are equipped with a intumescent sleeves which frequently grow in size under high temperatures creating solid coked cellular material fixing the cable in such position that prevents an availability of a short current.

Approved for use within cable lines for provision of electrical operability according to GOST R 53316-2009.
Provide workability under standard temperature conditions according to GOST 30247.0-94 during 120 minutes.
Temperature range: from -40ºС to +100ºС.
It is possible to manufacture boxes with temperature range from -60ºС to +130ºС

6,0 – maximum possible cross-section of wires connected to terminal blocks. In the case of installation of a terminal block needed for connection wires with a cross-section up to 3,0 mm2 this designation is not used;
IP66- degree of protection;
х - designation of size of a junction box: «100х100»; d; «120х120» (see the table “Modifications” KM-O IP 66). In the case of modification with 80x80mm size designation is not used
