Fireproof junction boxes IP41

Fireproof junction boxes KM-О IP41 are designed for connection and branching of cable lines. Used for mounting indoors unde.

Fireproof junction box consists of a steel galvanized body with a decorative plastic cap on its upper part. There are special removable sections for input of cable, metal hose or cable-duct in side walls of the cap. Body has a rectangular or square shape. 

Elements of connections and fittings have galvanic anti-corrosion cover.

There are ceramic terminal blocks inside the body, which provide a tap screw connection and a grounding grip. There are ports for tap screws or screws in the bottom of the body for connection to elements of structures.

The boxes are certified for compliance with the requirements of technical regulations: ТР ТС 004/2011 "About safety of low-voltage equipment".

Designation of junction boxes during the order

КМ-О (8k*6,0)-IP41-х, where:

КМ-О – denomination;

8k – number of contacts in a terminal block;

6,0 – maximum possible cross-section of wires connected to terminal blocks. In the case of installation of a terminal block needed for connection wires with a cross-section up to 3,0 mm2 this designation is not used.

IP41 – degree of protection;

х – designation of a junction box: “s”, “m”, “d” (see the table  “Modifications” KM-O IP-41). In the case of modification with 72x72mm size designation is not used
