Central block is a part of a multi-component fire control unit PPU “Gefest”.
CB is a non-addressable device and it is needed for control and maintenance of:
- alarm and evacuation control systems of 1-st and 2-nd types
- smoke and gas removal units
- engineering and technological units
- emergency lighting
Maintenance and control of devices are practiced via two radial connection lines (CL) that are included in multi-component control unit PPU “Gefest”.
CB has one control direction and 2 CL for control of executive devices.
CB implements launching of industrial automation devices via signals from
- Fire receiving and control unit (PPKP);
- Distant start devices (UDP);
- Buttons from the front panel;
Built-in light indication and sound signalizing about received notifications and delivered signals corresponded to GOST R 53325-2012 requirements.
CB controls two connection lines, constantly maintaining them for failure or short-circuit.
There is a possibility of setting the delay time for a command execution, independently for each CL.
There is a protection against illegal access to control buttons with the help of Touch Memory keys (up to 5 units).
There are three outputs for transfer of information about CB condition to external devices.
There are two feeding inputs in CB and it controls their condition.

Executive devices of fire automatics can be used as periphery devices, which are connected to CL directly or via commutation and diagnostics devices (UK-D of different implementations) or other devices of PPU “Gefest”.
The choice of periphery devices is defined by necessity of control of exact devices of industrial and fire engineering.
