The head of the Russian Ministry of EMERCOM Evgeny Zinichev launched a large-scale interagency pilot research training in the Arctic, which involves seven regions - from Murmansk Region to Chukotka Autonomous District.
The training took place in Dudinka (Krasnoyarsk region), where remoteness, difficult climatic conditions and limited transport accessibility are peculiar features
47 new samples of equipment, outfit and methodology will be tested. It is planned to carry out a number of experiments and to estimate how prototypes of equipment intended for fire and rescue works will behave.
Among the novelties presented in Murmansk, products of Gefest Enterprise group such as fire-resistant cable line "North" and light Sirens North, designed for use in the north are exhibited.
